We believe that every child should have the opportunity to enjoy a summer resident camp experience, even if the child’s family cannot afford it. Since its beginning in 1962, Washtenaw Camp Placement Association has helped more than 8,750 children attend summer resident camps. You can help by volunteering in the following ways:

Refer students (school and agency staff)

Screen applications

Assign campers to camps

Interview students and families

Assist with the medical clinic

Assist with camper and family orientation

Help with education and outreach efforts

Help with marketing

Donate office skills

Coordinate a fundraiser

Help recruit volunteers
