Each camper’s application should be returned to his or her school. A referral should be completed by a staff member, preferably one who knows the applicant well. It is very important that the referring teacher, social worker or counselor write in the comments area on the back of the form. Camp can be a life changing experience for a child. The more information we have on the application and on the referral form, the better equipped we are to make an appropriate placement.

Referral forms are available for download here or by contacting the office of Washtenaw Camp Placement at (734) 971-4537. The completed referrals and applications should be sent to Washtenaw Camp Placement Association.

It is difficult for the camp placement committee to choose which children go to camp. Everyone is deserving but our funds are limited. We thank each of you for your input. You will be notified of the campership recipients around the beginning of April.
